Development
26 years of coding applications and building for the web.
From legacy server systems to modern web stacks. Now specializing in building statically generated sites and dynamic web applications. Found Astro, Svelte and SvelteKit in my search for the 'perfect' front end stack, and they have now become my go-to tools for any web project. In my experience, these frameworks are unbeatable in terms of productivity, performance, and ease of use; which translates to more satisfaction and fewer headaches in the long run--both for me and my clients.

Martial Arts
16 years of practice in the art of Lapunti Arnis de Abanico.
Previously trained and dabbled in different forms of martial arts: Karate, Judo, Aikido, Tai Chi, Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga and Wonwhado. Found the art that I will practice for life in Lapunti Arnis De Abanico. While taking inspiration from other fields and valuable lessons from other disciplines, I am now on a path which my Lapunti teachers themselves have embarked on. A path of reflection and discovery, of sharing the art with others, and towards finding my own Lapunti.

Core
Values
Merging Filipino martial philosophy and technical craftsmanship.
- Artistry & Craftsmanship
- Find enjoyment in what you do and it will show. What separates good enough and great is invisible to most. It's the attention to details.
- Simplicity & Directness
- Employ only what is necessary and reduce complexity. Every line of code, every action, should be deliberate. Sloppiness compounds into failure.
- Mastery & Discipline
- Mastery makes difficult things look effortless. But the path to mastery is far from easy. It's showing up daily, doing the work, and refining what came before.
- Continuous Flow & Improvement
- Close-mindedness leads to stagnation. Failing to move could be fatal. If it's not working don't force it. There's always a better way. Find it.
“From one thing, know ten thousand things.”
Miyamoto Musashi (The Book of Five Rings)
“Simple is not easy.”
