I like to think of myself as a craftsman in this digital age. Someone who takes pride in producing quality work tailored for each client. Where the enjoyment that clients and users derives from the final product is a reward in itself.
A master craftsman chooses his tools well, even his projects deliberately, and brings years of distilled experience into the job. The work is not rushed. And when finished, embodies an elegant simplicity. Quality visible in the smallest details. Being a master craftsman may be an ideal, especially in this field, but it's an ideal that I'm trying to live by.
Decades in this craft has taught me one consistent lesson: don't chase hype. Good and reliable tools, tested practices, and sound principles outlast every buzzword cycle. Simplicity, performance, and maintainability win every time.

Website redesign consultancy, tech stack migration, and development for Regina De Vera, a Julliard-trained actor and educator. Keystatic CMS. The project also involved migration and reformatting of 100+ blog articles, automated using python scripts.
Website redesign, tech stack migration and development for Lapunti Karilyon (UP Diliman Lapunti Arnis De Abanico Training Group), a Filipino martial arts organization based in the University of the Philippines Diliman campus.
Project consultancy, design, technology stack selection and development of a POC and working prototype for Watch!Tap!Shop!. A winning entry in the first Gawad Pangulo Para sa Natatanging Inobasyon contest of the University of the Philippines, a university system-wide competition for innovative ideas or projects.
Web application design and development of a survey respondent locations map for a water supply monitoring department of the University of the Philippines College of Engineering. Raw survey data conversion and ingestion, interactive map plotting, data filtering and display.
Website consultancy, redesign, modern tech stack migration and development for Common Wealth Credit Cooperative (CWCC), an award-winning financial services cooperative in the Philippines with over 55k members.
Website design and development for a corporate law office based in Makati City, Philippines. First built in 2013 using Processwire CMS with MySQL database backend. Fully-converted to a modern and more performant stack in 2025 using Astro, eliminating the need for a backend while preserving previous design and structure.
